Been a long time gone

I'm back after a long hiatus, and the reason I haven't been writing here is because, and this is going to sound so typical: I've been writing a novel.  It's the hardest thing I've ever attempted, and its taking me way longer than I expected.  But I really want to get back to this, so I am.
